BSO Concerto Debut with Andris Nelsons on April 28, 2022

Regrettably, soprano Marlis Petersen has had to withdraw from her upcoming appearances with the Boston Symphony Orchestra (April 28-30) due to COVID-19 travel restrictions.
In place of the works by Strauss Ms. Petersen was to perform, these concerts will feature Saint-Saëns' First Cello Concerto with BSO Principal Cello Blaise Déjardin as soloist.
This will be the first concerto appearance of Mr. Déjardin with the Boston Symphony Orchestra and its music director Andris Nelsons.
Concerts at Symphony Hall on April 28 (8pm), April 29 (1.30pm) and April 30 (8pm).
